1959年生於中國武漢。畢業於湖北美術學院，現為湖北美術學院中國畫系教授、主任、湖北省美術家協會中國畫藝術委員會主任。曾獲第八屆全國美展最高獎、中國工筆畫大展銀獎、全國美展優秀獎等。作品為中國美術館收藏。出版《中國畫構圖法》、《工筆人物課堂教程》等多本專著及畫冊，提出「重傳統、重創新」教學理念。主要從事寫實工筆人物畫的創作研究與教學。
Born in 1959 in Wuhan, China, Li Feng graduated from the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts. He is currently a professor and director of the Department of Chinese Painting at the same institution, as well as the director of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the Hubei Artists Association.
He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the top prize at the 8th National Art Exhibition, the Silver Award at the National Gongbi Painting Exhibition, and the Excellence Award at the National Fine Arts Exhibition. His works are part of the collection at the National Art Museum of China.
Li has published several books and instructional albums, including Composition in Chinese Painting and Gongbi Figure Painting: A Classroom Guide. He advocates a teaching philosophy that emphasizes both tradition and innovation. His primary focus is on the creation, research, and teaching of realistic figure painting in the gongbi style.
