1979年出生於韓國。畢業於國民大學美術系及研究所，於2000年代初期活躍於首爾當代藝術圈。其作品曾在首爾的Brain Factory、Art Space Hue、省谷美術館等地展出。她的創作常以自我形象為主體，探討女性身份、社會壓力與自我認同等議題。申英美的藝術語言鮮明，色彩柔和卻蘊含挑戰性，展現其對現代女性處境的深刻反思。
Born in 1979, South Korea, Shin Young Mi graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Kookmin University, where she also completed her graduate studies. She was active in Seoul’s contemporary art scene in the early 2000s. Her works have been exhibited at venues such as Brain Factory, Art Space Hue, and Sungkok Museum in Seoul.
Shin’s practice often centers on self-representation, exploring themes of female identity, social pressure, and self-perception. Her artistic language is distinctive—soft in color yet conceptually provocative—offering a deep reflection on the conditions of modern women.
