1970年生於台灣台南,畢業於國立台灣藝術學院美術工藝系。從事裝幀設計與影像創作,擅長台味普普拼貼、立體記憶裝置及平面設計,作品融合歷史記憶與當代視角,探索文化混血與庶民美學的可能性。他熱愛逛跳蚤市場與二手書店,對庶民文化、風俗歷史、流行與古典、雅俗共生的異質混合現象深感興趣。並投入設計田野調查,試圖在「全球化」與「本土化」的交錯之間,尋找屬於自己的創作語言與發展方向。
Huang Tzu-Chin was born in 1970 in Tainan, Taiwan, and graduated from the Department of Fine Arts and Crafts at the National Taiwan University of Arts. He is engaged in book design and visual arts, specializing in Taiwanese pop-style collages, three-dimensional memory installations, and graphic design. His works integrate historical memory with contemporary perspectives, exploring the possibilities of cultural hybridity and folk aesthetics.
He enjoys visiting flea markets and second-hand bookstores and has a deep interest in folk culture, social customs, history, the fusion of pop and classical elements, and the coexistence of high and low art. Actively involved in design field research, he seeks to establish his own creative language and development path within the intersection of globalization and localization.
